Barcelona star Lamine Yamal set a new Champions League record on Tuesday by scoring his 14th goal in Europe's premier competition during a match against Aston Villa. Finding the net in the seventh minute to secure an early 1:1 lead, the teenager surpassed Kylian Mbappe's previous record of 13 goals scored before turning 20 years old.

Yamal, who will celebrate his 20th birthday on July 13, extended his impressive seasonal tally to 25 goal involvements across all competitions in just 15 appearances. The all-time teenage top-five list in the tournament also features Erling Haaland with 10 goals, Patrick Kluivert with seven, alongside Raul, Karim Benzema, and Jude Bellingham with six goals each.

The Catalan onslaught continued as Raphinha netted a brace to reach 19 goals for the season, establishing the highest scoring figure across Europe's top 10 leagues. The Brazilian winger has now been involved in 22 goals across 13 matches in all competitions, cementing his stellar form under head coach Hansi Flick.

In his Champions League career, Raphinha has contributed to 38 goal involvements in 36 appearances, with 23 of those strikes coming in Barcelona colors. This puts him level with Robert Lewandowski, ahead of Rivaldo and Neymar, while trailing only Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi in club history.

Under manager Hansi Flick, Barcelona also celebrated their 52nd home goal in the Champions League across just 15 appearances, continuing to showcase extraordinary offensive dominance on the continental stage.
