The matcha trend continues to gain momentum in Israel, now reaching the world of ice cream and desserts. PerfectTed, the British matcha brand recently launched in Israel by the Shestowitz company, is teaming up for the first time with the Vaniglia ice cream chain. The collaboration introduces a new series of products based on PerfectTed's Japanese Ceremonial Grade matcha powder — the highest grade available.
This partnership marks a significant step in PerfectTed's expansion in Israel, offering consumers a refreshing new way to enjoy matcha beyond the traditional cup.
The new product line includes four items:
-
Matcha ice cream
-
Matcha mango shake
-
Matcha coffee shake
-
Matcha dulce de leche shake

All items are now available at Vaniglia branches nationwide. The matcha ice cream offers a rich, delicate, and balanced flavor profile with a natural green hue and a velvety texture. The shakes provide three distinct flavor combinations: the tropical sweetness of mango, the depth of coffee, and the beloved, familiar taste of dulce de leche.
Pricing is as follows:
-
Cup of ice cream: 22 shekels
-
0.5 kg package: 72 shekels
-
1 kg package: 118 shekels
-
Shake: 36 shekels
Kashrut: Badatz Beit Yosef.

Galit Bar, Director of the Food Division at Shestowitz, stated:
"This collaboration is part of our strategy to expand PerfectTed’s presence through experiential and innovative partnerships with leading brands, allowing consumers to experience matcha in a wide variety of settings — at home, in cafes, on the go, and now in ice cream parlors."
Kobi Elia, CEO of the Vaniglia chain, added:
"This partnership was born from a desire to expand the matcha culture in Israel. By connecting PerfectTed, a leading European brand, with Vaniglia, a pioneer in premium Israeli ice cream, we are bridging two worlds that are at the forefront of current consumption trends."
