Channel 16 Announces Major Schedule Overhaul and New Morning Hosts
Channel 16 announced major schedule updates, naming Amira Buzaglo and Lior Dayan as new morning hosts while Yael Bar Zohar transitions to a flagship program.
Channel 16 is continuing its rapid expansion within the Israeli media landscape, announcing a series of dramatic changes and refreshing updates to its broadcasting schedule. Led by a comprehensive strategic plan to broaden content offerings and strengthen its position as a major broadcaster, the network is bringing fresh faces and formats to viewers.
New Morning Lineup and Talent Shifts
As part of this major makeover, media personality Amira Buzaglo and journalist Lior Dayan have been chosen to host the channel's morning program. The duo is expected to deliver a unique blend of soft news, culture, entertainment, and contemporary Israeli discourse every morning, maintaining an accessible tone alongside sharp public commentary.
Meanwhile, presenter and actress Yael Bar Zohar is stepping down from her daily morning slot to lead a brand-new, prominent flagship program currently in advanced development stages. Management clarifies that the upcoming format will leverage her rich experience, charismatic personality, and proven television capabilities.
Building a Leading Media Home
"Yael Bar Zohar remains one of our central talents driving this growth, and her new show will deliver high-quality, engaging content for wide audiences," network leadership stated.
Over the past two decades, Bar Zohar has established herself as a prominent Israeli television figure with extensive experience across major networks. These updates form part of a broader development strategy as Channel 16 consolidates its status as a leading Israeli media home across news, current affairs, culture, and entertainment. Broadcasts are currently available via ch16.co.il and major television providers on channel 16.
