MasterChef star clarifies: "I don't need you to buy me fish. I can buy it myself"
In the latest episode of "MasterChef: Dream Team," Gal Kaspers chose to cook grouper, calling it "the most expensive fish in nature." After receiving offers on Instagram to purchase the fish for her, the contestant humorously clarified that she is perfectly capable of providing for herself.

A statement on air and a funny clarification on Instagram: in the latest episode of "MasterChef: Dream Team," contestants were tasked with preparing a dish inspired by Eyal Shani's fish pasta. While others looked for ways to showcase their creativity, Gal Kaspers saw another opportunity (a new episode airs tonight, Thursday, on Channel 12).
"I chose grouper, a fish for the rich. It costs a fortune. Only on holidays do I allow myself to buy it. It's awkward to say, but if there is grouper in the pantry, how could I not take it? Why? It is the most expensive fish in nature," she remarked with humor during the episode. However, it seems there were viewers who took her words quite literally.
All episodes of "MasterChef: Dream Team" are available for viewing now on +12. Judging by a story she posted on Wednesday, some fans offered to buy the expensive fish for her. Kaspers was quick to clarify the situation, once again with a touch of irony: "Friends, I want to tell you something: I don't need you to buy me grouper. I can buy it myself. It is an expensive fish, and we only treat ourselves to it on holidays. Otherwise, we are perfectly content with sea bass when it's available. Are we clear?"
