The Universe chain, Israel's legendary discount retailer owned by the Shufersal group, continues its expansion momentum. A new branch has opened in the LARO complex in Mitzpe Sapir, near Kochav Yair-Tzur Yigal, with an investment of millions of shekels.

Universe offers a line of leading products at special prices. For example: Osem Bamba (70-80g) for 2.9 NIS, Asador chicken sausages (400g) for 3.9 NIS, canola oil (1 liter) for 3.9 NIS, Colgate Optic White toothpaste for 3.9 NIS, and RIZELLE Persian rice (1kg) for 3.9 NIS. In addition, there are deep discounts in the fruit and vegetable department: tomatoes, dry white onions, packaged carrots, white cabbage, butternut squash, and melon at 2.9 NIS per kg; red peppers, sweet potatoes, and eggplant at 3.9 NIS per kg (subject to promotion terms).

The new branches are part of the nostalgic comeback of Universe, which was synonymous with an affordable shopping experience until 2003. The branches have undergone an upgrade and offer an innovative look and service, with a special emphasis on fresh departments: fruits and vegetables, meat, fish, delicatessen, and nuts.

Currently, with the opening of this new location, the chain operates 30 branches across the country and will continue to expand into additional Israeli cities in the near future.
