Israel Police Investigate Dozens of Fraud Complaints on Election Day
Israel Police investigate nearly 30 complaints of voter fraud and identity theft during election day, alongside arrests over alleged vote-buying schemes.

Israel Police are investigating nearly 30 complaints filed during election day regarding suspected voter fraud and identity theft at polling stations. Law enforcement officers initiated rapid investigations to verify the allegations and determine whether electoral offenses took place.
Police emphasized that the filing of complaints does not automatically confirm wrongdoing, noting that all findings will be forwarded to the Central Election Committee for further review and appropriate action.
Earlier, authorities arrested three residents from the Negev towns of Segev Shalom and Ar'ara in connection with alleged vote-buying schemes to benefit the Ra'am party. Investigators from the Negev Central Unit reported seizing cash, envelopes, and ballot slips during house searches. The suspects are scheduled to appear at the Beersheba Magistrates' Court for detention hearings.
Meanwhile, reporting from the southern region highlighted an incident where a voter reported being offered 500 shekels to cast a ballot for a specific faction, a proposal she immediately rejected.
