Irit Linor attacks Naftali Bennett: "This is not feminism"
On the «Patriotim» show, panelist Irit Linor criticized Naftali Bennett’s decision to add four more women to the «BeYachad» list. Linor argued that this move does not reflect true feminism, emphasizing that her own view is based on meritocracy and equality of opportunity, rather than equality of outcomes.

Panelist Irit Linor criticized on Tuesday Naftali Bennett’s decision to add four more women to the «BeYachad» list. Speaking on the «Patriotim» program, Linor argued that this move does not reflect true feminism and emphasized that her understanding of the concept differs from the approach presented by Bennett. She also rejected attempts by others to define the term for her.
Linor clarified her position on the essence of feminism: "A group of men will teach me what it means to be a feminist? You will not tell me what it means to be a feminist." She added that "feminism is meritocracy. That is how it should be. It is not about quotas or headlines that do not even truly inspire the 17 women already on the list."
The panelist further explained that true feminism is expressed in the fact that "if you are successful and know what you are good at, you will not face obstacles." She concluded her remarks with a clear statement: "The goal is equality of opportunity, not equality of results."
