Violent incident in Jerusalem: 28-year-old man seriously injured

A 28-year-old man was seriously injured this evening, Thursday, in a violent incident on Al-Mamoun Street in Jerusalem. United Hatzalah teams called to the scene provided him with initial medical treatment and evacuated him to Shaare Zedek Hospital, where his condition is currently defined as serious but stable.

United Hatzalah paramedics Zaki Yahav and Shuki Becker, along with EMTs Dudi Rosenwald and Hershel Morgenstern, reported that witnesses stated the man sustained upper body injuries as a result of violence.

The medical teams provided treatment including hemorrhage control, bandaging, and the administration of life-saving medication. The patient was subsequently transported by an intensive care ambulance to the trauma unit at Shaare Zedek Hospital with head injuries. The circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear at this stage.
