IDF Nears Completion of Hezbollah Infrastructure Destruction in Lebanon
The IDF nears completion of Hezbollah infrastructure destruction in Lebanon, while maintaining readiness on the Iranian front and dealing with high tensions in the West Bank and ongoing counterterrorism in Gaza.

The Israel Defense Forces are nearing the completion of infrastructure destruction in Lebanon, with roughly 80 to 90 percent of terror infrastructure in the defense zone south of the Yellow Line already dismantled.
Lebanon Operations and Long-Term Hold
Following operations in the Ali Atar ridge and the destruction of a massive underground complex built by Iran and Hezbollah over two decades, the military continues operations along the Yellow Line, focusing currently on Al-Mansouri. A senior military official stated that the army is not rushing the process, maintaining the security zone as long as necessary. The Northern Command's directive focuses on preserving forces and preventing exhaustion, with full infrastructure destruction expected within weeks.
Iranian Front and US Midterms
Attention remains focused on the Iranian arena ahead of the US midterm elections. To prevent high oil prices, President Donald Trump maintains severe economic pressure on Iran, keeping the regime in a severe economic crisis. The IDF continues operational planning for a potential independent or coordinated operation against Iran, particularly concerning its remaining enriched uranium stockpile.
West Bank Tensions
The West Bank remains the most volatile front. While the military has significantly reduced Palestinian terrorism, authorities face growing challenges regarding violent acts by Jewish extremists establishing unauthorized outposts. Senior officers fear that localized friction could ignite a broader escalation ahead of upcoming political cycles.
Gaza Operations
Three years after October 7, the IDF continues targeted counterterrorism operations across the Gaza Strip, neutralizing dozens of operatives monthly. Despite heavy blows, Hamas retains roughly 20,000 less-skilled operatives, continues manufacturing rockets, and digs subterranean passages while utilizing humanitarian aid trucks for resilience.
