An indictment was filed at the Magistrate's Court in Petah Tikva against a 30-year-old resident of Hod Hasharon, charging him with threatening to assassinate National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir and his family, as well as threatening to blow up their home using a Molotov cocktail and a grenade.

According to the indictment submitted by the Sharon precinct prosecution branch, the defendant sent threatening messages via WhatsApp in November 2025 to the police 105 hotline. Among other things, he wrote that he planned to kill Ben Gvir, send him a Molotov cocktail and a grenade, and declared that the minister was dead.

Following the messages, police officers were dispatched to the suspect's residence, and he was taken for questioning at the Kfar Saba police station. During the interrogation, the defendant allegedly reiterated his explicit intentions to harm the minister and his family members.

"I intend to find out where he lives, utterly vandalize his house, and kill his wife and children, as well as him," the suspect reportedly told investigators, adding that he planned to manufacture a homemade Molotov cocktail, procure a grenade, and blow up the residence.

The indictment charges the defendant with multiple counts of making threats. Police prosecutors noted that through his actions, the suspect unlawfully threatened the life and physical safety of Minister Ben Gvir and his family with the intent to intimidate or harass them.
