The chairman of the Blue and White party was asked this evening, Wednesday, during a house meeting in Netanya whether there is still a chance he will join in one list with the chairman of the Zionist Home party, Chili Tropper, who previously left to join Yoaz Hendel's reservists' party.

"These are discussions we are holding among ourselves, the details of which I cannot reveal," he replied, promising: "Past grievances will not be any consideration in the ability to increase the balanced and moderate force in the State of Israel."

Both parties, it should be noted, are failing to pass the electoral threshold in various published polls, but the Zionist Home-Reservists list is getting close to it, and joining with Gantz could help it pass. The Blue and White chairman is simultaneously conducting contacts with the Unity party of Gilad Erdan and Yuli Edelstein, and has also offered Ayelet Shaked to join the attempt to pass the electoral threshold.

The Zionist Home-Reservists party stated: "Many parties are approaching and holding talks with us. It should be emphasized that no negotiations are being held with any party."

The Unity party stated earlier today: "This morning a positive meeting took place between Gilad Erdan and Benny Gantz. As Erdan said in recent days, he is working with increased vigor for the sake of unions in the unity bloc. Another meeting between the parties will take place in the coming days."
