The incident occurred about a month ago: six teenagers from Ashkelon went out early in the morning to target a victim—a foreign worker. Exclusive footage shows them arriving at the entrance to a city neighborhood, where two waited on the road while four lay in wait in the bushes.

Before the robbery, a passerby alerted the police, suspecting that an ambush was being prepared. Minutes later, the two teenagers stationed above spotted the foreign worker approaching on an electric bicycle and signaled their accomplices below. The worker was trapped, ambushed, and beaten with stones and sticks by four of the suspects, before the other two joined in to rob him of his bicycle and personal belongings.

In the footage, the teenagers are seen fleeing with their loot: one with the stolen electric bicycle, another with the personal items, and a third carrying a large board used to strike the victim. The injured worker was later seen emerging from the ambush site, attempting to flag down passing vehicles for help.

Police officers from the Ashkelon station (Lachish district) solved the case the same day, arresting all six suspects and filing serious indictments against them. While the perpetrators have been apprehended, this incident highlights the urgent need for a systemic response to the growing phenomenon of youth violence.
