Jane Bordeaux singer Doron Talmon denies social media claims that she leaked information to a musician accused of assault, breaking her silence after an investigation closed.
Doron Talmon, the lead singer of Jane Bordeaux, has broken her silence following accusations made on social media by Naama Shahar. The controversy erupted after the closure of a police investigation due to a lack of evidence against musician Yuval Vilner, who had been suspected of assaulting Shahar and Shai-Li Atar.
Shahar previously published chat logs alleging that Talmon leaked sensitive information to Vilner, tipping him off about a diary in his possession which was allegedly hidden to obstruct the investigation. In response, Talmon took to Instagram to issue a firm statement addressing the backlash.
"I kept silent not because I have nothing to say, but out of genuine respect and the belief that no one should be judged in their pain and distress," Talmon wrote. "But I can no longer remain silent."
Rejecting the severe allegations against her, Talmon added that the published details are incorrect, partial, and biased. Despite facing harsh online criticism, she concluded by reiterating her lifelong commitment to advocating for women and condemning violence.
