Body of a man located in Tel Aviv; criminal suspicion ruled out
The body of a man in his 50s was discovered tonight on HaNegev Street in Tel Aviv. ZAKA volunteers worked at the scene for several hours, assisting police and forensic teams in collecting evidence while ensuring the dignity of the deceased.
The body of a man in his 50s was located tonight on HaNegev Street in Tel Aviv. ZAKA volunteers called to the scene worked for several hours to treat the deceased with dignity and assisted police forces and the forensic identification unit in collecting evidence.
David Bloy, a night shift worker at ZAKA, and Israel Yaffe, a ZAKA volunteer who operated at the scene, stated:
"This is a difficult scene, where a man of about 50 was found without signs of life. Together with other ZAKA volunteers, we worked for the dignity of the deceased, assisted the forensic investigators during their work, collected the many findings, and after long hours — in the early morning — we transferred them for burial."
The body was transferred to the National Center of Forensic Medicine for further examination and clarification of the circumstances.
