Corinne Gideon on the approach from Gilad Erdan: "Leaving everything for politics"

Corinne Gideon appeared this week for the filming of the annual campaign for the international lingerie brand Triumph, which took place this time with a homey and relaxed concept under the title "Feels Like Triumph." Instead of planned poses in a studio, the campaign shows Gideon dancing and moving freely around the house, as part of a message celebrating comfort, authenticity, and self-confidence. As part of this approach, no Photoshop edits were used in the campaign photos.

This is the fifth year that Gideon has led the brand in Israel, a collaboration that began shortly after she became a mother for the first time and continued throughout her pregnancies and after the births. On set, she shared the process she went through regarding her body image:

"I wouldn't have felt comfortable doing this before. Ever since I became a mom, I am much more at peace with my body. It doesn't even matter how I look anymore. Something about becoming a mom really connected me to my femininity."

She also addressed the change she recently made: "The breast surgery was something I wanted and dreamed of for years. I fulfilled this dream, set a goal, and carried it out. Now I really feel much better about my body."

Alongside the lingerie shoot, Gideon also addressed the storm that followed after she corrected a Hebrew error in a story she posted about the singer Odia: "I didn't say anything insulting, it was a joke about a mistake in Hebrew. I'm just a language nerd. Everything was in humor, and I also said that I am in love with her and her number one fan. It shouldn't have been taken hard, and she didn't take it hard either — she responded with humor." When asked about Odia's reaction, she added: "She was brilliant and amazing. That is exactly what makes her such a beloved singer who is down to earth."

One of the most interesting revelations in the interview concerns the political arena. Ahead of the 2026 elections, Gideon confirmed that she received an approach to join politics from the former ambassador and former minister, Gilad Erdan:

"He wanted to check the possibility of me joining him. It was just a check. He is a worthy person with a lot of experience, and it was a good meeting. I came mainly to listen and also to voice my opinion. One of the things I told him at the meeting is that the arena today is social media. Whoever is not there, must be there."

Despite the meeting, Gideon clarifies that she has no intention of entering the Knesset in the near future: "Not right now. I am not at a place in life where I want to leave everything and enter politics. You pay heavy prices there too. But this country is important to me, the future of my children is important to me, and I love this place and want it to be good here." Regarding her vote in the upcoming elections, she clarified that she has not yet decided: "There is still time. I intend to read, listen, check, and research in depth. It is important to me to choose someone who will deal with the essential and not the trivial."
