How to turn artificial intelligence into your personal stylist
Artificial intelligence technology is becoming a constant fashion consultant. Expert Dalia Baida demonstrated how to use Gemini to receive styling advice, perform virtual try-ons, and find outfits within a specific budget.

Artificial intelligence technology is becoming a constant fashion consultant available at any moment, allowing advanced algorithms to be turned into a personal stylist that recommends clothing combinations and performs dressing simulations.
Dalia Baida, an artificial intelligence expert, presented an example of this in an interview on the program "HaOlam HaBoker" ("The World This Morning"). Using the Gemini program, Baida uploaded a photo of her look alongside two footwear options and explained the process:
"I sent a photo of my look and asked the simplest prompt: 'Which shoe is more suitable for my outfit? Give a detailed explanation'."
The model analyzed the outfit and recommended blue shoes. Baida presented the reasoned analysis provided by the AI: "Your look consists of neutral tones, black and beige; a blue shoe adds a current and chic touch of color." Beyond the verbal styling analysis, the program performed a visual simulation and "dressed" the suggested shoes directly onto Baida's photo.
Beyond point-specific advice, the model also allows for recreating an entire "inspiration look" from the web according to a pre-defined budget. In another example, Baida uploaded a photo including striped pink pants, a shirt, a hat, and accessories, and clarified: "I wrote to him that my total budget is up to 500 shekels." In response, the model broke down the look, located alternative items on sites like SHEIN and ASOS, and produced a detailed comparison table with direct links, prices, and match percentages to the original look.
The most advanced capability presented in the segment is "Virtual Try-On" technology, which allows for saving a lot of time and money by checking clothes before purchase. Baida demonstrated this when she uploaded a photo of a polka-dot dress and boots she saw on a model online alongside her personal photo. The AI accurately dressed the items onto Baida's photo while maintaining her body proportions and facial structure.
"It literally tried on the dress I want to buy on me," she explained.
According to Baida, the three steps to implement the examples are very simple: go into Google's Gemini, upload the relevant photo with the prompt, and get the result. For those interested in trying the process, the full prompt is available on the program's Instagram page.
