CENTCOM estimates the cost of military operations related to Iran at approximately $47 billion, driven largely by munitions replenishment and equipment replacement.

The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) estimates that the total cost of military operations related to Iran has reached approximately $47 billion so far, according to reports obtained by CBS. This estimate excludes damages sustained by American military bases across the Middle East.
Breakdown of Military Expenses
The vast majority of the expenditure stems from the replenishment of depleted munitions stocks, which CENTCOM officials have valued at roughly $29 billion to date. In addition, the military reported allocating $6.1 billion for the replacement of lost equipment and about $11.9 billion for related operational expenses, including troop support and deployment costs.
Meanwhile, diplomatic and security developments continue to unfold regionally, as international mediators work on potential frameworks and regional partners assess the evolving strategic landscape.
