Devora Sharifian-Bachar, who recently joined the Yeshar! party, declared on Saturday that the party will not hesitate to head to another round of elections.

"We will do everything to ensure this country does not go to elections again; I remind everyone of the scars from the last four election campaigns," said Sharifian-Bachar, a former Mossad operative who immigrated from Iran. "But if we do not succeed in bringing in people who share our principles, we will not be afraid; we will continue to work hard and go to another election campaign to ensure this nation gets people worthy of upholding these values."

"Even the head of my party, Gadi Eizenkot, says this in his own voice: we will not give up on these values, and we will do everything to win in this round. If not, we will go to another round until we find a place for worthy people."

In the mandate poll by "Ha-Yom" published this past weekend, it emerged that there is a tie of 23 mandates between Yeshar! and the Likud. According to the poll, the opposition bloc receives 56 mandates, the Netanyahu bloc 53, and the Arab parties (Hadash-Ta'al and Ra'am) together hold 11 mandates.
