Brad Bakery in Rishon LeZion Expands into an Evening Wine Bar
Chef Eden Nissim and chef Daniel Amon have transformed the Rishon LeZion bakery «Brad» into an evening wine bar, offering a fusion of artisanal pastries and gourmet bistro dishes.

Chef-confectioner Eden Nissim and chef Daniel Amon have teamed up to expand the popular «Brad» bakery into an evening wine bar in Rishon LeZion. Located at 2 Remez Street, the venue operates as a bakery and brunch spot during the day, offering pastries, desserts, and a daytime menu. By night, it transforms into an intimate wine bar featuring small plates for sharing, crafted by Nissim and Amon.
A Parisian Vibe in Rishon LeZion
The evening concept brings a touch of romance to the corner of Herzl and Remez streets. Small tables covered in crisp white tablecloths are set across the wide sidewalk, where couples and groups enjoy culinary creations in a relaxed atmosphere without loud music. The concise, feminine menu bridges traditional pastry-making with contemporary bistro cuisine, blending sweet and savory elements.
Culinary Highlights
Among the standout dishes are Parisian gnocchi made from choux pastry with flour and parmesan rather than potatoes, served in a minimalist lemon-butter and sage sauce. Another highlight is the tropical interpretation of gazpacho, featuring tuna tartare in a sweet-and-sour mango sauce garnished with crispy croissant strips. Dessert features a chocolate mousse inspired by the Parisian bistro Chez Janou, developed in collaboration with Valrhona's master chef and served with Patura olive oil and Maldon salt.
Wine and Service
Sommelier Idan Dadon designed a dynamic beverage program featuring monthly rotating wine lists dedicated to different themes, highlighting Israeli and international kosher wines. The service is attentive, warm, and exceptionally welcoming, adding to the charm of this vibrant urban hotspot.
