Beersheba prepares for a glowing night: The Light Run night race returns in September
Beersheba's traditional Light Run event returns on September 9, and this year it is expected to be especially large and impressive. Under the title "Saluting the Runners," the night race will be held in honor and tribute to IDF soldiers, security forces, and reservists.

Thousands of runners are expected to participate in a variety of competitive and popular race categories, alongside a happening that will include expo displays on sports and health topics, activity areas for children and families, and a closing show. The race is organized by the Beersheba Municipality and the Sports Department at the "Kivunim" company, in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and Sport, the IDF, and produced by the "Shvoong" company. This year, the Neot Hovav industrial local council is also taking part in the event, marking 50 years since its establishment.
