Barak Seri mocks Channel 14: "Apparently they do believe the polls after all"
Following the ongoing confrontations surrounding Gadi Eizenkot and the criticism from Yaakov Bardugo, journalist Barak Seri attacked on the X network and claimed that political pressure is increasing ahead of the elections.
Journalist and commentator Barak Seri addressed on the X network the recent attacks against Knesset member Gadi Eizenkot, claiming that the discourse on Channel 14 is becoming sharper as the elections approach. These remarks followed a series of statements by Yaakov Bardugo against Eizenkot, in one of which he called him "this stuttering man, who is illiterate."
In a post he published, Seri wrote:
"The hysteria on Channel 14 is growing. The elections are approaching and nerves are fraying. Curses against Eizenkot from 'moron' to 'doesn't read books,' shrill demands to fire Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir, and curses against members of the Democrats party. Apparently, they do believe the polls on the competing channels after all."
Seri's reference comes against the backdrop of polls published recently, including a poll on Channel 12 News, which dealt, among other things, with the question of suitability for the premiership. According to the poll, Eizenkot recorded a significant achievement when he surpassed Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for the first time on the question of suitability for the position.
According to the data, Eizenkot received 38% support among the public, while Netanyahu received only 35%. Eizenkot's strengthening and the political and media reactions surrounding him continue to spark a broad debate in the political system, especially ahead of the upcoming election campaign.
