Barak Seri with a sharp jab: "How she sucked up to Sara Netanyahu"

Journalist Barak Seri commented today on the X network regarding Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's decision not to shorten Hadar Muchtar's qualifying period in Likud, and directed a jab at her following the latest political developments.

As recalled, in recent times, assessments within Likud grew that Muchtar would not receive the shortening of the qualifying period she had hoped for, which could prevent her from running in the party's primaries. This came after the issue was brought to Netanyahu's desk, and at one stage it was even reported that he was expected to approve the move, with the aim of allowing her to integrate into the Likud list and occupy the "new woman" slot in the party.

However, in recent days the picture has changed, and it is now known that Netanyahu has decided not to shorten the qualifying period for Muchtar. The meaning for her is that she will not be able to run in the Likud primaries within the current schedule.

Seri chose to address this cynically and critically. In a post he published on the X network, he wrote that the decision is final, and added that Muchtar invested a long time in an attempt to get closer to Likud and the Netanyahu family.

Among other things, Seri referred to Muchtar's activity in the protests at Habima Square, the videos she published on social networks, and her attitude toward Netanyahu and his wife Sara:

"How she fawned over Netanyahu, how she sucked up to Sara Netanyahu," wrote Seri, while mentioning a video she published recently regarding Sara Netanyahu.

Later, Seri mocked the situation in which Muchtar found herself following the decision:

"And suddenly nothing. The Knesset slipped away. Who will return to her all the days, weeks, months, and years?"

"That's it, finally, and I hope everyone will handle the news: Netanyahu decided not to shorten the seniority for Hadar Muchtar and the difficult meaning: she will not be able to run in the Likud primaries. How many days and nights she ran with a small microphone at Habima Square, how many endless provocations she did to older protesters. How many videos she uploaded. How she fawned over Netanyahu, how she sucked up..."

Seri ended the post with another jab at Muchtar, when he referred to the possibility that she would continue public activity outside the Knesset:

"But she will always be able to demonstrate with all her might for the sake of Likud and the Right. Habima Square will always wait for you."

The latest development constitutes a significant change for Muchtar, who in recent times worked to integrate into Likud and run within the party. Now, following Netanyahu's decision not to shorten the qualifying period, the option to run in the primaries is not open to her, at least according to the current situation.
