Bank Hapoalim invests millions: Free attraction at the Tel Aviv Port
Bank Hapoalim is launching 'Poalim Junior City,' a free interactive complex for children focused on financial education. The project, with investments estimated at millions of shekels, offers a unique experience where children can 'work' and manage their earnings.
Bank Hapoalim is establishing 'Poalim Junior City' at the Tel Aviv Port, an interactive experiential complex offering free activities for children of all bank customers, focused on smart consumerism and financial education.
The experience is divided into several zones. In the employment area, children receive an employee card, a hat, and an apron, then proceed to 'work' at various stations. Tasks include sorting merchandise, baking challah, packing eggs, and managing online orders. Upon completion, children receive a rechargeable credit card with their 'salary' to be used in the shopping zone.
The shopping area is designed as a supermarket maze, featuring interactive stations that teach decision-making skills. Children can use their earnings to purchase items while participating in memory games, trivia, and AI-driven career simulations. The experience concludes in an external tent with a performance of 'HaBizbazim,' a play about smart economic conduct based on a book adapted specifically for the bank.
Schedule and Registration
The 'Poalim Junior City' complex will be open from August 18–27, 2026. Operating hours are Sunday–Thursday from 9:00 to 21:00, and Friday from 9:00 to 15:00. Participation requires prior registration via the bank's website, starting August 10, 2026.
This initiative continues Bank Hapoalim's long-standing commitment to financial education and the 'Poalim Junior' service, which helps children manage money under parental supervision. A promotional campaign featuring actress Liat Har Lev and Hila Korach will launch on August 12. The total financial investment in the project is estimated at millions of shekels.
