At least 15 dead and over 130 wounded in Russian attack on shopping mall in Ukraine

At least 15 people were killed and over 130 wounded on Friday after several Russian UAVs struck a shopping center in the city of Kryvyi Rih in central Ukraine. Among the wounded are 22 children, five of whom are in serious condition.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky promised to respond to the strike, calling it a barbaric act. He explained that a second Russian UAV struck the shopping center about half an hour after the first attack, in a deliberate attempt to target the emergency forces that had arrived at the scene.
"Such attacks are nothing less than acts of terror. We will definitely respond," wrote Volodymyr Zelensky, calling on the international community to demand that Russia be held accountable.
In a separate attack today in the Mykolaiv region in southern Ukraine, at least four people were killed, including three children, and another woman was wounded, according to Ukrainian state media.
The attacks come against the backdrop of an intensification of the Russian air campaign. Yesterday, 17 people were killed in a Russian ballistic missile attack on Kyiv. Ukraine has also recently increased its attacks on Russian territory, focusing on oil facilities and logistics infrastructure, with the aim of damaging Moscow's ability to continue the war.
