National Insurance Institute: Benefit payments to be credited today

July is drawing to a close, and the National Insurance Institute (Bituach Leumi) is completing its distribution of grants and allowances to hundreds of thousands of eligible Israelis. The ice website provides an update on the remaining payment schedule and the recent adjustments to benefit amounts.
A positive development this month is that none of the scheduled payment dates fell on a weekend, ensuring that all benefits were transferred exactly on time. Unemployment benefits and income support were paid on July 12. Child allowances were distributed on July 20, while the deadline for self-employed individuals and employers to report and pay insurance premiums passed as usual on July 15.
Today, Tuesday, July 28, the final set of allowances for the month will be credited to accounts. This includes:

The National Insurance Institute also reported that average benefit payments have risen by 2.64% since the beginning of 2026, reflecting the increase in the Consumer Price Index. The updated average benefit amount across all categories is approximately 5,280 shekels, which will remain the standard for the remainder of the year.
