Attorney and mediator Yair Traibish, who specializes in the realization of medical rights and representation before the National Insurance Institute (Bituach Leumi), the Rehabilitation Department, and pension funds, regularly shares updates and rulings from the cases he handles on social media. As part of a routine update on his work, he has published a series of new decisions recently reached regarding his clients.

In a recent post, Traibish opened the week with "positive news," detailing three distinct cases:

  • The first case concerns a disabled individual from the Rehabilitation Department whom he has represented for a significant period. Official approval for full disability eligibility has now been secured from the client's pension fund, valid for 15 months.

  • Another decision concerns a victim of a work accident who has not yet returned to work. The employee was assigned a 40% temporary orthopedic disability rating for the recovery period. This ruling is intended to serve as a basis for filing a future claim for disability completion, aiming to achieve recognition of full disability for the entire period of absence.

  • The third case involves a work accident victim who suffered a mental injury. An official decision was made to recognize a causal link between the mental injury and the accident, resulting in the approval of a 20% mental disability rating for the recovery period.
