National Insurance Institute: August Benefit Payment Schedule
The National Insurance Institute has begun distributing grants and benefits. Due to the weekend, the payment schedule for several benefits has been adjusted, and reporting deadlines for employers have been extended. Additionally, the average benefit amount has been updated.
August is in full swing, and the National Insurance Institute is distributing grants and benefits to hundreds of thousands of eligible Israelis. The ice website has organized the information regarding payment schedules, reporting deadlines, and updates to benefit amounts.
The first benefits to be deposited this month are unemployment benefits and income support, scheduled for 12.8. The reporting and payment deadline for insurance premiums for self-employed individuals and employers, which falls on 15.8 (Saturday), has been moved to 16.8.
Child allowances are scheduled for deposit on 20.8. The remaining benefits, originally set for 28.8 (Friday), will be paid one day earlier, on 27.8.

The National Insurance Institute also announced that, as of the beginning of 2026, the average benefit amount has increased by 2.64% due to the rise in the Consumer Price Index. Following this update, the average benefit amount is approximately 5,280 shekels.
