After 3 years: Israeli company acquired for $65 million
DoiT is acquiring the startup Attribute, which developed a solution for monitoring AI and cloud costs, in a deal estimated at $65 million — its fifth acquisition in less than two years. The company, which has 30 employees, was founded in 2023 by veterans of Unit 81, Itzhak Zimmerman and Liad Trop.
DoiT, founded in Israel and developing solutions for managing and reducing cloud operational costs, has acquired the Israeli startup Attribute. The acquisition amount is estimated at $65 million, and this is DoiT's fifth acquisition in less than two years.
Attribute was founded in 2023 by Unit 81 veterans Itzhak Zimmerman, who serves as CEO, and Liad Trop, who serves as CTO, and has 30 employees. The company developed AI Tokenomics, a solution that shows organizations how much their use of artificial intelligence and cloud technology costs, and analyzes in real-time the use of tokens, models, and shared cloud resources by team, product, feature, agent, or client. Attribute raised about $13.5 million in a seed round from Israeli funds: Mensch Capital, SCapital, HarelTech, and IBI.
DoiT is an Israeli-American unicorn company founded in Israel in 2011 by Vadim Soloviev, who serves as CEO, and Yoav Toussia-Cohen. The company's headquarters is in Santa Clara, California, and it serves more than 4,500 clients in 27 countries, including Spotify, Booking.com, Akamai, FIFA, Perplexity, Raptive, and Claroty. According to the company, it helps its clients achieve savings in the cloud environments of Oracle, AWS, Google, Microsoft Azure, and more than 40 other cloud and infrastructure providers.
The acquisition of Attribute joins other acquisitions made by DoiT in the last two years with an estimated volume of about $200 million: PerfectScale and Live Diagrams acquired in January 2025, the Israeli Cloudwise acquired in October 2025, SELECT acquired in January 2026, and Attribute acquired in August 2026. Even before that, DoiT acquired SuperQuery in 2020 and ProdOps.io in 2021.
"Organizations cannot see or know today what their expenses are in the field of AI and cloud, and Attribute provides them with the full picture of an expense that is only growing in organizations," said Zimmerman. According to him, DoiT's data shows that monthly spending on AI is expected to triple in the next 12 months. In addition, in a recent survey conducted among 500 executives in large organizations, only 15 percent said they were able to calculate the return on investment in AI, and many said that significant budget overruns often occur mainly because they do not know how much they are spending on AI.
