'How old were you when you learned this trick?'. The star of the seventh season of 'Married at First Sight', Shaked Bitton, has long since become 'not just another contestant' and maintains an active profile on social media, where he shares recipes and cooking tricks.
Yesterday, Wednesday, in a short video posted on his Instagram account, Shaked offered a solution to one of the things that makes it difficult for all of us in the kitchen — cutting an onion without tearing up. In the video, Bitton presented a knife on which he applied olive oil, and then cut an onion with it, without tearing up at all.
'Tell me, how old were you when you discovered that if you take olive oil and put it on a knife — and then cut an onion — you will never cry? I discovered this at age 30'.
The followers responded to the challenge and many were surprised, commenting: 'I just found out now', while noting their age. One follower added: 'So, swimming goggles aren't needed?' — one of the most common solutions recommended for sensitive people.
Shaked Bitton broke into the public consciousness as a prominent participant in the seventh season of 'Married at First Sight'. He was matched with Roni Tzadka, but although they decided to stay together at the end of the program, about a year later they separated, and Bitton moved on.
Before his television fame, Bitton's professional career was concentrated mainly in the corridors of politics and parliamentary communication. For a period, he served as the official spokesperson for Knesset member Boaz Toporovsky from the 'Yesh Atid' party.
After the experience on screen, Bitton decided to make a sharp turn and moved away from the political world. He turned to fulfill an old dream, finished acting studies, and began working as an actor and creator. At the same time, he utilizes his experience as an independent communications consultant and content creator, and continues to take part in the entertainment world, among other things as a regular panel member on podcasts and reality show coverage programs.
