Algeria's President Tebboune Declares Severed Ties With UAE Irreversible
Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune blamed foreign nations for fueling armed groups in the Sahel and declared the diplomatic rupture with the UAE irreversible.

Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune has accused foreign states of establishing armed groups in Africa's Sahel region, declaring that Algiers' decision to sever ties with the United Arab Emirates is irreversible.
In a televised interview, Tebboune claimed that a foreign state created a terrorist organization years ago that operated in Mali, comparing past incidents to current security challenges in the region. He emphasized that times have changed and Algeria's response will be different.
Tebboune also reaffirmed that the diplomatic break with the UAE, enacted on September 10, is final. He stated that the decision was made after relations reached a critical point following numerous regional disagreements.
