Maverick Maltin, 19, decided to drop out of the University of Arizona to become a full-time content creator in the field of artificial intelligence. This decision proved to be extremely profitable: in recent months, he has been earning a six-figure sum per month. Maltin, who posted his first TikTok video only in May 2025, quickly discovered how to translate his interest in technology into exceptional financial success, allowing him to travel the world full-time.

A surprising target audience and the first viral video

While other content creators focus on technical and complex explanations aimed at younger demographics, Maltin identified a gap in the market and turned specifically to an older audience, aged 30 to 65. He offers them simple and useful guides for daily life, such as using ChatGPT to write a resume, finding discount codes online, or selling used items. His strategy is based on improving existing videos through a faster pace and an intriguing intro that immediately catches the eye.

His first video to reach a million views was created exactly this way, after he watched another viral video and decided to present the same idea in a faster and more attractive format. Maltin makes sure to follow online trends and act quickly so as not to miss out. He writes down ideas for intros on his mobile and films them as soon as possible, while maintaining consistency in content publication, which sometimes reaches three or four videos a day.

From a first $2,400 contract to an entire team

At the beginning of his journey, Maltin avoided commercial collaborations to build trust with his followers. Only when he reached about 80,000 followers on TikTok, and on his father's advice, did he decide to respond to the advertising offers he received. His first contract yielded $2,400 for just two videos. Since then, brand deals have become his sole source of income, and he has signed more than a hundred such deals, assisted by a professional agency and an external video editor.

When his TikTok channel crossed the 100,000-follower mark, Maltin realized that his income allowed him to forgo academic studies. Today, as he manages a profitable business and employs staff, he recommends that others simplify the world of artificial intelligence for the general public, emphasizing that a basic understanding of the field already provides a huge advantage over most people.
