Actress and songwriter Alona Kimhi (60) is a winner of the ACUM prize and the Bernstein Prize for literature. Kimhi is known for her rich literary work and for writing hits for Israeli music, including the hit "Sod" ("Secret") for the singer Adam.

Kimhi was a guest on Adi Shilon's podcast "Ahavti" ("I Loved") from All In, where she spoke about the affair she had with musician Izhar Ashdot that sparked a decades-long relationship.

"I sat with Izhar and just kissed him. I felt a lot of confidence. I always had confidence in the fact that I was sexy. Sexy not because of how I look, I know the work. It is a source of power. The sexiness was my power, it was externalized. Like coming up to someone and just kissing him, like I came to Izhar. He thought he hit the jackpot, he fell into a trap," said Alona Kimhi.

According to her, even though at that time she was married to photographer Oded Kimhi, the actress fell hard for the Israeli singer and composer.

"I didn't think much, we fell in love. That was the hard part. I loved my husband very much. It wasn't that we didn't get along and I said 'Oh, I must save myself', it was a great relationship. So it also wasn't clear to me what was happening and what I was doing. What, just for the sake of change? It confused me a lot, I lived in a much simpler world of concepts."

After her marriage to photographer Oded Kimhi, the Israeli star moved on. Since 1985, actress and creator Alona Kimhi has been in a relationship with musician Izhar Ashdot, and they have a son, Ilay Ashdot, a music creator and producer.
