A Musical Exit for Ness and Stilla

Israeli hip-hop sensations Ness and Stilla, alongside singer Odia, have scored a major commercial deal. Their hit track "Shopping List" ("Reshimat Kniyot") has been acquired for a staggering half-ilion shekels to soundtrack the latest advertising campaign for the "Paz" convenience store chain, Yellow.

Released in March 2025, the track quickly became a cultural phenomenon, pulling in over 11 million views on YouTube and nearly 10 million streams on Spotify. Industry insiders report that the lucrative payout will be split evenly among the six songwriters behind the track: Dor Soroker, Nessia Levy, Odia Azulay, Orel Shmailov, Matan Chobi, and Ben Treiber, with musical production handled by Stilla.

Blending Genres and Humorr

"Shopping List" masterfully fuses hip-hop, trap, and pop, contrasting the desire for a simple relationship with the high expectations often placed on modern partners. The music video, directed by Omer Aloni, is packed with clever wordplay, fictional brands, and sharp humor that sparked widespread social media parodies.

"This partnership represents a natural evolution for modern Israeli artists who successfully merge chart-topping streaming success with high-profile corporate branding," noted industry observers.

The Booming Commercial Song Market

This high-value synchronization deal follows a growing trend in the Israeli music industry where major hits are transformed into lucrative corporate assets:

  • In May 2024, Ness and Stilla sold their hit "Harbu Darbu" to Partner for 250,000 shekels.

  • In December 2025, Noa Kirel's "Bridezilla" was licensed by yes for approximately 300,000 shekels.

  • In November 2025, Kirel and Osher Cohen's duet "Ain Oti" fetched roughly 370,000 shekels from Mizrahi-Tefahot Bank.

  • In March 2026, Kirel's "Provocative" was picked up by Strauss brand PRO for 400,000 shekels.

Formed in 2023, Ness and Stilla—comprising rapper Nessia Levy and producer Dor Soroker—continue to dominate the charts, cementing their status as top-tier musical innovators and commercial heavyweights.
