Tsofit Grant Opens Up About Avram Grant, Shuli Rand, and Past Feuds
Israeli media personality Tsofit Grant discussed her divorce from Avram Grant, her current relationship with Shuli Rand, and her reconciliation with Michal Rand in a new podcast interview.

Tsofit Grant recently opened up about the complex, personal chapters of her life, shedding light on her divorce from Avram Grant, their enduring bond, and her reconciliation with Michal Rand, the ex-wife of her current partner Shuli Rand. Appearing on the premiere episode of the podcast Diburim Mi-Gan Eden, hosted by Eden Harel, the well-known media personality shared details of the conversation that led to her parting ways with Avram after decades of marriage.
A Lifelong Bond
Grant recalled the emotional exchange she had with her ex-husband at the time. "I told him, 'Give me your heart, we will figure out the rest.' He started crying and said he would never hurt me. He loves me with all his soul," she shared. Despite the split, their deep connection remains intact, and Avram continues to be a crucial pillar of support in her life.
"Even today, I have this deep connection with him," Grant explained, emphasizing that their bond transcends shared parenthood.
She noted that Avram was the first person to provide her with a profound sense of security, a feeling that persisted long after their marriage ended.
New Beginnings and Surprising Twists
The decision to formally end the marriage crystallized on the day their daughter Romy celebrated her 18th birthday. Following her divorce, a new chapter began alongside actor and creator Shuli Rand, whom she first met back in 1992 during a theater production. In a surprising twist, Grant noted that both men share the exact same birthday, seven years apart.
The two men have since become close friends, with Avram frequently joining family gatherings for Shabbat and holidays when he is in Israel. Shuli even goes out of the way to prepare special vegan meals for Avram during holiday dinners.
Turning the Page with Michal Rand
Grant also addressed her relationship with Michal Rand, following years of intense public and legal battles surrounding the get (religious divorce). Grant revealed that the two women have managed to reconcile and build a positive relationship.
"Michal and I have made peace. We talk and everything is fine," she said, adding that Shuli underwent a massive personal transformation following the finalization of the divorce.
Reflecting on the financial settlement, Grant touched upon a sum of 180,000 shekels designated for Michal, which ultimately remained under Grant's stewardship to help manage and distribute according to Michal's needs, cementing a newfound foundation of trust.
