September 1st: Ben Gvir to launch children's book featuring controversial illustration

A new provocation by Minister of National Security Itamar Ben Gvir is expected to coincide with the start of the school year, targeting the entrances of schools. The initiative involves a children's book centered on the chairman of the Otzma Yehudit party, detailing his "activities and achievements," which is set to be distributed to students outside educational institutions.

It has come to light that Otzma Yehudit activists have been instructed to position themselves at school entrances across the country. Some were even provided with lists of specific institutions for the distribution. The book has already been sent to print and is written in accessible language adapted for children. Alongside presenting the minister's activities, the book includes messages aligned with his political struggles. For example, the cover features Ben Gvir as a comic character, accompanied by an illustration of Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara stepping on a police car.

The distribution is planned to take place outside school grounds, specifically targeting students arriving for their studies. The party reportedly allocated tens of thousands of shekels for the production and distribution of the books.
