Yanbu

French President Emmanuel Macron announced that France will deploy troops and air defense systems to Saudi Arabia to protect the key Red Sea energy port of Yanbu.

A senior Houthi official threatens to raise the level of military pressure on Saudi Arabia and tighten the naval blockade in the Red Sea to include all foreign vessels operating off the kingdom's coast. According to him, oil facilities in the port of Yanbu have been added to the target bank in order to halt oil exports.
