A senior Houthi official threatens to raise the level of military pressure on Saudi Arabia and tighten the naval blockade in the Red Sea to include all foreign vessels operating off the kingdom's coast. According to him, oil facilities in the port of Yanbu have been added to the target bank in order to halt oil exports.
A Houthi official told Arab media that the terrorist organization intends to raise the level of military pressure on Saudi Arabia in the coming days. Following this, he assessed that the naval blockade in the Red Sea would be tightened to include all foreign vessels operating off the kingdom's coast.
According to the official, the Houthis are planning a series of terrorist acts to tighten the "economic stranglehold" and stop all oil exports from the Saudi port city of Yanbu. He noted that the organization has added the oil facilities in the port of Yanbu to its target bank, and threatened that the oil export route via large tankers from the port will be closed until Saudi Arabia meets the Houthis' demands.
"The actions of the Sana'a forces will move to a stage of full encirclement in the coming period. The decision to curb the escalation remains in the hands of the Saudi regime. If the regime wants to prevent further losses, then the doors for containment lie in responding to the demands of Sana'a," the official threatened.
