The parents of Muhammad Mahamid, who was murdered months ago on his way to work, visited the Umm al-Fahm police station to thank officers for solving the case. Muhammad's mother stated: "I feared the case would end without arrests."

A month after the murder of singer Shafiq Kabha in 2013, the case remained unsolved. The breakthrough came after a confrontation between two suspects who, fearing a more serious charge, confessed to their roles in the crime.

Police officers from the Umm al-Fahm station, in cooperation with tactical brigade units, conducted an operation in the village of Salem, removing 21 cameras installed without permits.
