The daughter of one of two British tourists missing following the flood in Nepal discovered online footage of them from the hours leading up to the disaster. The two were on their way to a pilgrimage in Tibet, and their family members continue efforts to locate them: "We have not given up."

Massive water currents washed away settlements in northern Nepal and knocked multi-story buildings into the river. The water level makes it difficult for rescue helicopters to land in the area. Flash floods on the Tibet-Nepal border led to the erasure of entire villages. As of now: only 12 people have been rescued from the disaster zones.
