Snake Bite

Both incidents occurred at the peak of the summer season. The 12-year-old was bitten by a viper while playing with his friends in the neighborhood, and the two-year-old was taken to the hospital with swelling in his leg. Dr. Ronen Pompe: "In the event of a bite, it is important to calm the person, immobilize the limb, and call MADA as quickly as possible."

A man aged about 60 was hospitalized in serious condition following a snake bite in Kafr Qara. Minutes later, an 18-year-old was evacuated in moderate condition after a similar incident.

A two-year-old toddler was bitten by a snake in the yard of her home in Beit Shemesh. She was evacuated to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem in moderate condition.
