The Canyon HaZahav mall in Rishon LeZion is launching a new 12,000-square-meter floor, as the Fox Group significantly expands its presence and introduces new brands to the complex.

Dramatic change at Azrieli Malha Mall: the fast-food court on the third floor is closing to accommodate the relocation of a "Toys R Us" branch. While "Hummus Eliyahu" is leaving the complex, the "Katsefet" chain is looking for a new location.

As Globes has learned, the mall giant has purchased land zoned for residential and hotel use, and is working to rezone it for the construction of a 35,000 sqm mall. The company identified a shortage of a significant regional mall in Jerusalem that would compete with Azrieli's Malha Mall, which includes about 44,000 sqm.

The commercial complex at Cinema City Glilot is emptying out and showing abandoned shops, while the nearby "Big" complex is bustling with life. At the same time, the Nitsba company is facing millions in lawsuits from chains like Landwer and Shufersal, alleging neglect and economic collapse.

Throughout August, visitors to Ofer Ramat Aviv mall can explore the 'Around the World' complex, featuring creative workshops inspired by European cities, themed sets, and rotating activities. Admission is free, with a special Israeli party to conclude the summer events.
