First publication: After 20 days in custody, the main suspect was released. The police investigation revealed that he was at the scene near the victim - but did not shoot at him. A 29-year-old man who was passing by and was not involved in the incident was also lightly wounded.

The Be'er Sheva Magistrate's Court denied a police request to perform an autopsy on Osher Kadosh, who was shot to death in Netivot. The judge ruled that a CT scan and external examination were sufficient, criticizing the State Attorney's Office for failing to properly review the case.
