The Football Association's Disciplinary Court accepted the prosecutor's demand and ordered the temporary suspension of the striker from all activities for 60 days. Dahan, who was loaned last season to Hapoel Ra'anana and was arrested as part of the case, previously denied: "I have no connection to match-fixing, the truth will come to light."

The Football Association has appealed to the disciplinary court to suspend the Maccabi Haifa striker from all activities until the conclusion of criminal proceedings, or for at least 60 days. The request cites evidence that he routinely placed bets on league matches, including games involving his own teams. Dahan previously denied any involvement in match-fixing.
