A senior US official condemned settler violence in the West Bank village of Jalud after violent riots injured three border police officers and targeted security forces.

The IDF and Shin Bet are investigating violent riots near Jalud after over 100 Israeli rioters attacked security forces and a Palestinian family's home, injuring three officers.

Three Border Police officers were lightly injured during violent riots in the West Bank village of Jalud overnight. Security forces detained several suspects after protesters blocked roads and set fire to Palestinian property.

The High Court of Justice criticized the IDF and police over nationalistic violence against Palestinians in Jalud. The state was ordered to return displaced residents within 14 days and report on criminal investigations.

In footage distributed this evening, settlers are seen returning to the area of a house in Qusra, which activists say was placed under siege again after the army left the site. In another video from Jalud, settlers are seen playing soccer in the yard of a house from which they were evacuated this morning, while soldiers watch them.

The IDF strongly condemned the entry of Israeli citizens into homes and Palestinian territories in the area of Qusra and Jalud, defining it as "illegal, reprehensible, and unacceptable activity." The army clarified that those involved will be dealt with, and that soldiers or reservists found to have been involved in the incidents will face disciplinary action.

Palestinian sources reported that vehicles were set on fire in the Jalud area south of Nablus overnight. The IDF stated that it is investigating the incident.
