The Israel Defense Forces evacuated Jewish rioters who infiltrated a closed military zone near the West Bank village of Jalud on Saturday evening following riots last month. A fire broke out at the scene, and the circumstances are currently under investigation.

The military stated that the Israelis entered a closed military zone illegally, emphasizing that as the area is designated a closed military zone and contains property belonging to Palestinians, Israeli citizens should not possess equipment there. The army added that the presence of rioters diverts security forces' attention from defense and counter-terrorism operations.

In late September, more than 100 Israeli rioters clashed with security forces in Jalud during the planned return of a Palestinian family forced to leave their home due to nationalist crime. According to the military, the family's return was not completed due to the violence, during which rioters blocked roads, burned tires, hurled stones at security forces, and set fire to Palestinian property, leaving three Border Police officers lightly injured.
