Gett is launching a service that allows booking urban and intercity trips in 25 countries directly from the app in Hebrew. The system identifies the passenger's location, displays available transport options, and provides a final price in shekels, with payment processed via the saved payment method.

The new platform will allow Israelis to travel abroad and pay in shekels through the familiar app, without the need to download local services. Customer service will be provided in Hebrew, and trips will be carried out by local and international transport providers.

Gett, which dominates the local taxi market, is expanding its operations to include vehicles with up to 55 seats in collaboration with the Rideeazy platform. Bookings must be made at least 12 hours in advance, with prices determined upfront based on distance, duration, and the number of stops.

The seat addition will be offered to parents at no extra cost beyond the metered fare. The pilot will begin in August and will operate initially for trips within Tel Aviv only, between 08:00 and 20:00.
