Assi Cohen

The premiere of the comedy series People I Met took place in Tel Aviv, based on Matan Halik's bestseller. Set in Beersheba, it stars Tal Friedman and Assi Cohen.

Everyone can see themselves in the child hero of "Independence", even if their biographies have no point of overlap: that's what happens when a film gathers within it everything beautiful in Israel, and in the same breath easily exceeds the standard. Many, many local cinema icons can only envy Moshe Rosenthal.

With 16 Ophir Award nominations and a successful festival run, the new drama by Moshe Rosenthal brings Assi Cohen back to the big screen after a long absence and presents a shattering and extraordinary family story.
