Ali Al-amoudi

The IDF and security establishment remain uncertain whether Hamas leader Ali al-Amoudi survived a recent targeted strike in Gaza. Considered a top architect of October 7, his fate following the precision attack is still under review.

The terrorist organization will proceed this week to elect a new leader for the Strip, according to a Qatari report. The leading candidate, Ali al-Amoudi, served as head of Yahya Sinwar's office but is considered a pragmatist who pushes for participation in Palestinian elections. Simultaneously, Hamas accuses Israel of violating the roadmap.
