Yotam Zimri: "There is no camp that defends Arab terror more than the Left"

During the 'Patriots' program on Channel 14, panelist Yotam Zimri harshly attacked the Israeli Left, claiming that it defends Arab terror in Judea and Samaria. The remarks were made following the terror attack near Havat Gilad and the claims that arose in the left-wing media regarding 'settler violence' at the scene. Zimri emphasized that these reactions indicate a deep problem in understanding reality.

Zimri argued:

"If your first instinct in such an event is to explain why it is not a terror attack, why it is not a terror attack but a confrontation, the problem is with you."

He compared this to the murder case of the late Ori Ansbacher, when, according to him, "there was that Arab Knesset member who said that, guys, this is not a terror attack, this is a crime on a gender basis." He added that "this is what the Left always does. It looks for reasons for why Arabs murder Jews, because the simple reason that they are Arabs and they are Jews is not enough for them."

The panelist continued his attack: "The Left has been preparing legitimacy for the murder of Jews for a whole year. It does this with the 'Jewish terror' campaign, every time going back to it and repeating it and repeating it." Zimri clarified firmly that "there is only one terror in Judea and Samaria, which is Arab terror." He referred to the confrontation that took place at the scene of the attack and noted that "no one shot at any Arab in this confrontation. The moment the Arab had a weapon, he shot at Jews."

Concluding his remarks, Zimri reiterated his firm position:

"There is only one terror in Judea and Samaria, which is Arab terror. There are Jews who do terrible things, there are Jews who enter, there is only one terror. And there is no camp that defends Arab terror in Judea and Samaria more than the Israeli Left."

His words sparked a stormy discussion in the studio, but Zimri stood by his opinion.
