Yair Lapid Introduces Neta Atias as New Yesh Atid Knesset Candidate

The chairman of the Yesh Atid party, Yair Lapid, has introduced Neta Atias as one of the party's new candidates for the 26th Knesset. Behind the new name on the political stage lies a nostalgic television past: in the early 2000s, long before entering parliament, Atias starred in the hit youth drama series "Napoleon's Hill" (Givat Napoleon), which aired on the Children's Channel and became one of the era's most memorable shows.

Atias, 37, from Ashkelon, has been deeply involved in political operations for years. For the past decade, she served as the faction director for Yesh Atid, managing the party's parliamentary work both during its time in the governing coalition and while in the opposition. Now, she is transitioning from behind-the-scenes work to a direct run for parliament, focusing on young families and the security challenges facing southern Israel.

In parallel with the introduction of new candidates, Member of Knesset Meirav Ben-Ari commented for the first time on her high placement in the upcoming electoral lists. Ben-Ari secured the second spot on the Yesh Atid list and the fourth spot on the joint "Biyachad" list.

Ben-Ari, who previously served as the chair of the Internal Security Committee, thanked the party chairman for his continued trust:
